On March 17, AsoPMR welcomed our community with a special event: the Welcome Webinar. During this session, we shared our mission, vision, and key projects that are transforming mobility and accessibility for people with reduced mobility (PRM).

An event to connect and build together

 

During the webinar, we addressed fundamental topics for our community. Here’s how the day unfolded:

  • Presentation and welcome → We started with an introduction to AsoPMR’s purpose and our commitment to inclusive mobility.
  • President’s speech → An inspiring message about the importance of accessibility and the challenges we still need to overcome.
  • You move us: Getting to know AsoPMR → We explained our work and how we are making a difference with initiatives like Park4Dis, which facilitates locating accessible parking spaces in over 350 cities.
  • Upcoming webinars and training → We announced new events and training sessions to continue strengthening the PRM community with key resources and knowledge.
  • Question and answer session → We answered attendees’ questions, reinforcing our commitment to active listening and participation.

 

AsoPMR: More than an association, a community in action

 

This event reaffirmed AsoPMR’s role as a driving force for change in inclusive mobility. Since our founding, we have worked tirelessly to remove barriers, foster autonomy, and generate real impact in the lives of people with reduced mobility.

Additionally, initiatives such as Park4Dis and the recent Spot4Dis project, supported by Google.org, reflect our commitment to innovation and accessibility globally.
